Stadium to be demolished
|
THE Guangzhou Stadium will be demolished today at 12:08pm, the Guangzhou Daily reported yesterday.
The installation of explosives was completed on Wednesday. As many as 480 kilogrammes of dynamite were installed into 8,000 blastholes, according to the daily.
To ensure the successful demolition of the stadium, experts have set up two dynamite triggering systems.
Many people have reserved hotel rooms facing the stadium to watch the event, which some have dubbed the "Number one explosion in China".(Alfred Zhang)
