Thai princess visits SZ

PRINCESS Chulabhorn, the fourth child of the king of Thailand, arrived in Shenzhen yesterday on a mission to seek a Chinese artistic group to perform as special guests at the birthday celebration of her mother, the queen of Thailand, on August 7.
The princess earlier wrapped up her tour of Shanghai, and this is her first visit to Shenzhen. Being an enthusiast of Chinese culture, she shows great interest in her tour schedule in the city, which includes a sightseeing visit to China Folk Cultural Villages and a fashion show. "I am looking forward to learning about Chinese culture in Shenzhen," she said.
The princess will return to Thailand on May 19.
