(After seeing the play.)
(看完演出以后。)
S: How did you like the play, Olivia?
你觉得这场演出怎么样，奥利维亚？
O: I think the acting and the stage effects were all superb! This is the most successful performance I've seen in recent years!
我认为演技和舞台效果都是上乘的！这是近年来所看过的最成功的演出了。
S: I am of the same mind. I was so attracted by the marvelous acting that at times I completely forgot myself.
我的看法和你一样。那杰出的表演深深地吸引着我，有些时候我自己好象已经跟剧情融合在一起了。
O: I've never seen an audience applaud so much before. I think there were at least four curtain calls.
我从未见过观众的鼓掌有那么热烈。我想，（演员）谢幕起码有四次。
S: I know the story of the play well, still I was deeply moved by the denouement of the play.
我熟悉这出戏的故事情节，但是戏的结局仍然使我深受感动。
O: Though the lovers die young, their love lives till eternity.
这对恋人虽然死的早，可是他们的爱情得到了永生。
S: You said it. If they lived in our age, when parents and family background no longer determine the fate of their children, Romeo and Juliet would easily get married and live a happy life.
没错。如果他俩生活在我们的时代，父母和家庭背景不再决定孩子的命运，罗米欧和朱丽叶就能轻松的结婚，过上幸福的日子了。
O: But in our age, when love and happiness is pursued with freedom and enjoyed like a cup of coke, seldom people treasure it like their own lives as Romeo and Juliet did.
但是在今天，我们每个人都可以自由地追求爱情和幸福，就象喝可乐一样享受甜蜜时光，却很少有人象罗米欧和朱丽叶如珍惜生命那样珍惜爱情了。
