Canadians injured in car crash

TWO Canadians and a Hong Kong driver were injured when their car suddenly flipped over along the 105 State Highway on Friday.
The injured, who were rushed to the People's Hospital in Fugang(?) Township after the accident, were transferred to a hospital in Guangzhou on Saturday morning.
One of the Canadians and the Hong Kong driver are still in serious condition.
A doctor from the hospital said the 50-something Canadian, who fractured his skull, remains in a coma. The driver, who sustained a serious head injury, remains in critical condition. The other Canadian was only slightly injured, the doctor said.
The Hong Kong driver's wife told reporters that the accident was due to a sudden blowout.
Doctor Zhou of the emergency unit of the hospital said when they received a call from the Guangzhou Canadian Consulate on Friday, they immediately organized a rescue team and rushed to Fuming(?) Township, which is 130 kilometres away from Guangzhou.(Alfred Zhang)
